On Monday April 14th, CEJA, CBE, CCAEJ and allies rallied in front of Exide Technologies to demand tighter regulations on chronic corporate polluters across California! Local community leader Father John Moretta of the Resurrection Church, Huntington Park City Councilmember Karina Macias, our very own Penny Newman, a representative from Senator Lara’s office, and Roberto Cabrales held it down on the mike while community leaders chanted. And, the best part: youth-led street theater featuring “El Barrio vs Chronic Corporate Polluters!”
