For the last 15 years, the California Environmental Justice Alliance (CEJA) has grown as a grassroots-led alliance that builds healthy communities from the ground-up, into a leading coalition advancing equitable policies in California’s environmental health and justice movement. Join us for an unforgettable evening to honor the incredible work of CEJA’s member and partner organizations and to celebrate our historic victories with delicious food, multicultural musical performances, and community-nominated awards given to our 2016 Environmental Justice champions!

LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes is the nation’s premier center of Mexican American culture.

Located near the site where Los Angeles was founded in 1781, LA Plaza’s 2.2-acre campus includes two historic and newly renovated buildings by 30,000 square feet of public garden. Our Anniversary Party will take place outdoors in the beautiful patio space.

LA Plaza sits within convenient walking distance to Union Station and a variety of public transportation options.

Driving Directions: La Plaza is located next to the 101 Freeway, across from the Pico House which is at the southern end of Olvera Street in the El Pueblo district. Ample parking is available in public lots in the surrounding area. Parking rates vary.
